Professional Profile
Have been working in website development approaching 10 years now. Languages/platforms I consider myself an expert in include PHP, Python, Django, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I strive for well-formed and cross-browser compatible code as well as highly optimized data structures. I continually study and experiment with different design patterns. I am very strong with my ability to write clean and re-useable code. I am never content and am always looking to improve my code. At this point, my focus is geared toward device agnostic web application development.

Technical Skills
HTML and CSS
All my HTML and CSS is cross browser compliant and well structured code. Style is 100% separated from content. Finally the time has arrived where I can now leverage HTML5 and CSS 3.0 into all my projects.
PHP and MySQL
For years PHP has been has been my server side language. As PHP5 came around I was able to spend some time with Object Oriented PHP and move away from procedural programming where possible. Although, I still think procedural programming has it's time and place.
Javascript (Object Oriented)
Javascript has become one of my favorites. I am very exceited about the direction our industry is moving and the role Object Oriented Javascript is playing in it. For fun, a colleague and I are developing a 2D game library using javascript and html5 canvas. Also at times I choose too use jQuery, my preferred javascript framework.
Python/Django
This combo has spoiled me. Almost all my current projects are now built on Django. But also being able to leverage the power of Python locally, building little utility apps to help aide in my productivity has really been a treat.
Adobe Flash
Not a priority, but have had to work in it over the years, so have developed a pretty good ability to work in Flash and Actionscript.
C / Objective-C
So far I think objective-c has won me over. (Sorry Java). Very anxious to develop on iOS.
Java
When I have time I try and fit in some time for Java. I know Android isn't going away and look forward to developing for it too.
